• The Cobas Lipid control is for use with the Cobas b 101 point of care measurement device. This control checks the accuracy of the measurement device using a control sample. Every lipid control kit contains a lot specific QC info disc for quality control. The QC info disc includes the target values and ranges for the Cobas lipid panel. After selecting QC check from the menu, the instrument prompts the user to insert the QC disk. The Cobas b 101 reads the disk and provides the lot specific target ranges.
